|In 2016, Dakota Sky is excited to bring back an eight-day Young Artist Program, which will take place from June 9–16. Young artists will have the opportunity work closely with Dakota Sky guest artists Tony Caramia, Jeffrey LaDeur, Albert Kim, and Paul Sanchez in private lessons, master classes, and discussion sessions throughout the week, culminating in a public performance on Thursday, June 16.
Tuition is $300 for full participants, or $100 for auditors, and includes admission to all Dakota Sky recitals and presentations.

The Dakota Sky Young Artist Program is designed to provide an intimate environment for learning and growth. During their eight-day experience, young artists will be challenged with an intense schedule, simulating the demands of professional life as a musician.
Each student will perform in private lessons, master classes, and will participate in discussion-based classes with artist faculty, away from the piano, meant to encourage musical and intellectual growth in a challenging, rewarding environment. Additionally, participants will have a performance opportunity at the end of the program on the stage of the Festival’s main performance venue, the Belbas Theater.
A very special component of the Young Artist Program will include scheduled social engagements between the participants and Dakota Sky guest artists. These engagements will provide a rare opportunity for the participants to interact with, learn from, and be inspired by the guest artists in an informal, intimate environment. Such social engagements form an integral part of the learning experience for program participants.
